company history

Weiße

The trained baker Christian Weiße founded a repair company for bakery machines with his wife in 1967 already. Unfortunately this company was expropriated in 1972. But Mr. Weisse did not give up and started another private company in Dresden, where he from that time developed and produced new bakery machines, as for example the Donut and cruller maker. Over the years he extended the range of his products more and more.

Manfred Thalheim, who took over the company in 1999, worked originally as a manager for technology and production in a greater steel construction company until 1995 and changed later into the bakery machine business. Since the company had a very good reputation already, Mr. Thalheim kept the the former company name "Christian Weiße Bäckereitechnik/Maschinenbau".
He also adopted the company philosophy of Mr. Weiße and says about his aims as the new owner: "I want to offer practical economisation tools, that have a long service life and are very reasonable."
Meanwhile the company supplies merchants all over Germany, Austria, the Commonwealth of Independent States and even in Japan.
